Official remotes are chat. This is a PTY.
We do not try to beat Claude or Codex at being their mobile app. Phone-as-glass is list, read, type, ping, onto a session already running on a remote host.
Stay if this is you. People who only run one vendor's agent and want that vendor's own mobile chat UX.
One vendor, one session
The remote is for that agent. A test suite, a shell, or a different CLI is out of scope.
Their host, not yours
1SessionTool has no cloud agent. The process lives where you spawned it. Close the Mac lid only after that host is a box that stays on.
Coding on the phone is a non-goal
The phone is glass. Work is not on the phone. v1 may be output plus input for agent panes, full VT when asked.
If you do switch
- Any CLI: claude, tests, a shell. The argv is yours.
- The host is yours. No StoicSoft cloud agent.
- Attach from phone, browser or another desktop without changing product.
- 1DevTool can embed the pane. Quitting the workbench does not kill it.
