# 1SessionTool > The session that keeps running. Attach from anywhere. A durable session layer for developers and coding agents. A session lives in muxd on a box the user owns. Any glass (Mac, PC, browser, phone) attaches. 1SessionTool is made by StoicSoft (https://stoicsoft.com). Stack: Rust muxd + libghostty-vt + Tauri 2. CLI: 1session. It is not a terminal emulator brand, not tmux with a theme, not a Claude/Codex/Grok wrapper, and not 1DevTool. There is no StoicSoft cloud agent and no required account. 24/7 means the user's staying-on host. Local sessions die if that machine sleeps. Pricing is a one-time license; muxd and the CLI are free on machines the user runs. No public installer yet. ## Product - [Home](https://1sessiontool.com/): The session that keeps running. Attach from anywhere. - [Features](https://1sessiontool.com/features): Persist, attach, spawn, plug in your server, phone as glass. - [Pricing](https://1sessiontool.com/pricing): One-time license - [Download](https://1sessiontool.com/download): No public installer yet. macOS, Windows, web attach planned. - [Changelog](https://1sessiontool.com/changelog): Release notes once a build ships. ## Comparisons - [1SessionTool vs tmux](https://1sessiontool.com/compare/tmux): The tool people already search. Persist a process. Prefix, one viewport, painful scroll. - [1SessionTool vs Superlogical](https://1sessiontool.com/compare/superlogical): A modern multiplexer from the Ghostty team. Their line is 'mux for all work'. Ours is not. - [1SessionTool vs Claude Code Remote / Codex mobile](https://1sessiontool.com/compare/claude-code-remote): Steer their agent, in their app. Not an arbitrary CLI on your box. - [1SessionTool vs Warp](https://1sessiontool.com/compare/warp): A metered AI terminal. 1SessionTool has no account and is not a terminal brand. ## Switching guides - [tmux alternative](https://1sessiontool.com/alternative/tmux): Where tmux still wins: People who already live in prefix, who want a cheatsheet they already know, and who do not want a GUI or a phone client. - [Superlogical alternative](https://1sessiontool.com/alternative/superlogical): Where Superlogical still wins: People who want that team's multiplexer and the 'mux for all work' thesis, and who are fine waiting on their public release. - [Claude Code Remote / Codex mobile alternative](https://1sessiontool.com/alternative/claude-code-remote): Where Claude Code Remote / Codex mobile still wins: People who only run one vendor's agent and want that vendor's own mobile chat UX. - [Warp alternative](https://1sessiontool.com/alternative/warp): Where Warp still wins: People who want an AI-first terminal with Warp's blocks and agent, and who are fine creating an account. ## Optional - [Blog RSS feed](https://1sessiontool.com/blog/rss.xml) - [Sitemap](https://1sessiontool.com/sitemap.xml) - [Privacy policy](https://1sessiontool.com/privacy) - [Terms](https://1sessiontool.com/terms) - [StoicSoft](https://stoicsoft.com): The rest of the network.
