A terminal is not a session layer.

GUI terminals die with the window. Warp is a very good GUI terminal with AI on top. 1SessionTool's job starts when you close that window.

Warp is a GPU-accelerated terminal with an AI assistant, blocks, and a cloud account. Persistence is not the product. The terminal is.

Where they win. People who want an AI-first terminal with Warp's blocks and agent, and who are fine creating an account.

The difference. 1SessionTool is not a terminal emulator brand. We win only if the job is a session that outlives the glass, with no required account. Warp wins if you want their AI terminal.

Is 1SessionTool an AI terminal?

No. It is a session layer. The first pane type is a terminal because vt is the first application on the session, not the last.

Do I need an account?

No required cloud account. Local binds to the user. Remote uses a token or key per server.
